St. Charles Bend to dispense scrubs through scrubEx machines

Starting May 1, scrubs will be provided to authorized users at St. Charles Bend through scrubEx vending machines.

To ensure availability of scrubs, Environmental Services will provide usage reports for leaders and manage active users in the system. When support is needed at the vending machines, call extension 7275 or email scrubex@stcharleshealthcare.org.

Managers may also request super user access for select caregivers by emailing a request to scrubex@stcharleshealthcare.org. Super user access will allow dedicated unit caregivers the ability to dispense additional scrubs for emergent needs.

It will be the responsibility of unit leaders to have caregivers register or wear disposable scrubs, which will be available through supply chain for units to stock for guests, vendors and those not registered.
