Whistle Super User Training

On Sept. 28, a new unified communication and collaboration system for clinical caregivers will go live in a staggered roll-out starting with Redmond and Med Staff on Sept. 28, Bend on Sept. 29 through Oct. 1 and Prineville and Madras on Oct. 2 (we shared an update on the status of Whistle back on July 20 in ITK - here's the article).

The new system will operate on smartphones via an app called MH-Cure Whistle. Please note: Within our organization, we'll be referring to the system as "Whistle."

In preparation for Whistle's go-live, Super User one-hour classroom training sessions will take place across all four St. Charles campuses. Here's when and where:

  • Prineville and Madras - Aug. 31 through Sept. 4
  • Bend and Redmond - Sept. 8-11

These classes are available for sign-up in Elsevier under the name “IT20WI Whistle Introduction" but leaders need to sign up their Super Users - caregivers should NOT sign up for classes themselves.

Due to COVID, training classes will be limited to nine caregivers and one instructor.

There will be training support rounding leading up to go-live. In addition to the department-level super users, there will also be at-elbow support on each campus at go-live.

Caregivers in affected departments will also be assigned required e-learning through a CBL.

Look for more information about Whistle in the coming weeks.
