An update on the new Cancer Center in Redmond

Plans are moving forward for the St. Charles Cancer Center in Redmond. Here is a quick update on the project:

We are currently in design development, finalizing floor plans and space layout. At 53,000 square feet, the facility will be able to accommodate between 350 and 400 patients per day.

The first floor will house 16 exam rooms and two vaults for linear accelerators, plus conference rooms, a break room and workspaces. On the second floor will be a 5,000-square foot infusion suite with views of the Cascades, as well as 19 exam rooms and a pharmacy specifically for cancer patients.

This facility will help us better treat patients from the northern region of our service area. In fact, half of the new cancer patients we treat each year are from Madras, Prineville and Redmond. It will also allow us to offer radiation therapy and more integrative therapies than what we currently offer in Redmond.

As of now, we are projecting a fall 2025 move-in date.
